Dr CCK is a Senior Product Specialist for the GCMS product line in Shimadzu Asia Pacific. He obtained his PhD from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2013 and has a diverse range of experience in analytical and chemical sciences research. Prior to joining Shimadzu, he ventured into the vibrant Singapore tech startup scene. He is now focused on developing hi-fi applications for GCMS in Shimadzu.

Elton dedicates his career to food analytics, ensuring the safety and quality of our daily consumption. As a Food Specialist at Shimadzu, he develops and applies advanced analytical techniques to detect and quantify compounds in food products, from contaminants to nutrients. Elton takes pride in advancing food science, enhancing safety, and building consumer trust. His goal is to make valuable contributions to analytical chemistry and the global food industry.

Jackie obtained his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the National University of Singapore, He has garnered over 10 years of research, training, and facilitation experience. Jackie meets scientists from various industries to share technical knowledge and collect feedback, understanding their problems and helping them find well-suited solutions in GC-related analyses.

Kenneth earned his Master's degree in material science and engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He has more than 10 years of experience in material testing and characterization; and is currently responsible for product management of Shimadzu testing machines for ASEAN, India, and South Asia regions.

Jun Hong is a Product Specialist for LC products in Shimadzu Asia Pacific. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry) from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. In his current role, he leverages his expertise to enhance HPLC applications, ensuring precise analytical outcomes and providing exceptional client support, driving innovation in chromatography.

Wan Tung has 12 years of working experience in analytical science, specializing in method development of various LC/LCMS applications. Her recent research work at Shimadzu has mainly focused on fully automated pre-column derivatization of amino acids in a variety of food and biopharmaceutical sample matrices. Prior to joining Shimadzu, Wan Tung started her professional career as a QA/QC chemist in a Pharmaceutical multinational company. She earned her Bachelor's (Honour's) degree in Chemistry back in 2009.

With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Max is a passionate expert in Mass Spectrometry. He obtained his PhD from Singapore National University in biomedical research on proteomics application by LC-MSMS. Besides proteomics,, he has extensive knowledge in the general field of omics as well as small molecule analysis by LC-MSMS and MALDI-TOF. He joined Shimadzu Asia Pacific in 2020 and is currently providing expert marketing and product support for LCMS in the Asia Pacific region.

Naatasha has research experience synthesizing and characterizing various materials including nanoparticles, novel polymers, peptides, biomaterials, and microfluidic devices for biomedical applications. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University Singapore with a Bachelors's of Materials Science Engineering (with Honours). She completed her Ph.D. working on RAFT polymers and Native Chemical Ligation synthesis to create nanoparticles modified with bioactive polymer brushes. She is now the Product Specialist for mass Spectrometry and Life Science Products in Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd.

Pravin has more than 15 years of industry experience, of which about 10 years in analytical instruments with expertise in trace element analysis applications using AAS, ICP-AES, & ICP-MS. He is engaged primarily in technical support to regional sales teams and customers. Prior to joining the industry, he did his PhD in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), Mumbai, India. He is currently based in Singapore.

Teck Beng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master's Degree in Material Science. He has been providing application support for OES, XRF, XRD, EPMA, SPM, and ESCA for the past 20 years. He has conducted numerous Application Seminars and Workshops on Materials Characterization/Failure Analysis/Restriction of Hazardous Substances in countries supported by Shimadzu Asia Pacific.

Venjamin has more than 15 years of Non-Destructive Inspection experience, and joined Shimadzu Asia Pacific in 2016. He is responsible for the product management of Shimadzu X-ray Inspection and CT systems for ASEAN and India. He has hands-on experience in electrical electronics, semiconductors packaging, automotive, composites, additive manufacturing, and lithium-ion battery measurement. His passion for NDI enhances his desire to pursue excellence.
