Sandy has been working with Shimadzu for over a decade, deriving sales strategies for analytical, scientific and testing products, striving to increase the market share and mentoring a team of 16 talented, dynamic product and market specialists.
She has experience as a Quality Control chemist, learning regulations and documentation in the Pharma business. Then, as an Application Specialist for LCMS & GCMS, she worked towards giving a “total solution” for various markets like food safety, forensics and omics. Even with this, Sandy believes in Kaizen and keeps learning, improving and improvising! Change is the only constant and that’s why she is not afraid of making and embracing changes.

Before joining Shimadzu, Nicole worked in different analytical instrument industries for more than 10 years. She has worked as a Chemist and had experience in the marketing of different technologies. Since the year 2018, Nicole has been responsible for providing marketing and technical support for the LCMS and Spectroscopy instruments in the Asia Pacific region.

Pravin has more than 15 years of industry experience, of which about 10 years in analytical instruments with expertise in trace element analysis applications using AAS, ICP-AES, & ICP-MS. He is engaged primarily in technical support to regional sales teams and customers. Prior to joining the industry, he did his PhD in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), Mumbai, India. He is currently based in Singapore.

Wan Tung has 12 years of working experience in analytical science, specializing in method development of various LC/LCMS applications. Her recent research work at Shimadzu has mainly focused on fully automated pre-column derivatization of amino acids in a variety of food and biopharmaceutical sample matrices. Prior to joining Shimadzu, Wan Tung started her professional career as a QA/QC chemist in a Pharmaceutical multinational company. She earned her Bachelor's (Honour's) degree in Chemistry back in 2009.

Jackie obtained his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the National University of Singapore, He has garnered over 10 years of research, training, and facilitation experience. Jackie meets scientists from various industries to share technical knowledge and collect feedback, understanding their problems and helping them find well-suited solutions in GC-related analyses.

Naatasha has research experience synthesizing and characterizing various materials including nanoparticles, novel polymers, peptides, biomaterials, and microfluidic devices for biomedical applications. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University Singapore with a Bachelors's of Materials Science Engineering (with Honours). She completed her Ph.D. working on RAFT polymers and Native Chemical Ligation synthesis to create nanoparticles modified with bioactive polymer brushes. She is now the Product Specialist for mass Spectrometry and Life Science Products in Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd.

Kanimozhi is part of the Shimadzu Asia Pacific Informatics Team, providing Laboratory Informatics Solutions such as LabSolutions CS, LIMS, and other QMS applications. She is supporting customers on the implementation of laboratory automation solutions and is responsible for providing consultation on streamlining Lab Workflow, Regulatory Compliance requirements for Electronic Data Management, and Lab Practices/Analysis.

Teck Beng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master's Degree in Material Science. He has been providing application support for OES, XRF, XRD, EPMA, SPM, and ESCA for the past 20 years. He has conducted numerous Application Seminars and Workshops on Materials Characterization/Failure Analysis/Restriction of Hazardous Substances in countries supported by Shimadzu Asia Pacific.

Ben graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business. He joined Shimadzu in 1993 and was responsible for product sales and management of Testing Machines in the ASEAN, India & South Asia regions. Ben is now responsible for channel management to support distributors and subsidiaries.
